My Favorite Wordpress Plugins: Basic Wordpress Setup Checklist

If you regularly set up wordpress blogs for you business, it’s a good idea to have a checklist that you complete for each new blog that you set up. A checklist will help you to set up blogs quicker and easier, without forgetting important plugins or tasks.
With that, I am going to share with you my basic checklist for setting up a new wordpress blog, including ‘essential plugins’ that I install on each new wordpress blog as well as a few essential tasks that I perform with each. If I find a new plugin that I want to use with every blog or discover a new task, I just add it to my basic checklist.
So, without further ado, here is my Basic Wordpress Setup Checklist:

All in one SEO pack - SEO optimization made easy
XML Google Sitemaps – Gives your blog a sitemap for google SEO optimization
Adsense Now! - Easy adsense intigration
Cystats – lots of cool stats and statistics on your visitors
Google Analytics for Wordpress – Easily add google analytics to all of your wordpress blogs, and check them all from one place.
GWA AutoResponder – Free autoresponder right from your wordpress blog.
MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer – reduce unwanted pinging and add your expanded ping list right from this useful plugin.
Tell-a-Friend Widget Plugin – allow your readers to easily share with social networks, email addresses, and more.
TinyMCEAdvanced – Add lots of cool features to your post editor.
Yet Another Related Posts Plugin – Show related posts at the end of each blog post.
Some Essential Tasks:
change permalink structure: /%category%/%postname%
change privacy settings to public – (default settings block search engine traffic)
expanded ping list
set posts per page to 1

Definately add the privacy settings to your checklist! Otherwise, your site will not be seen from the search engines!
